MP Bob Blackman: Iranian Regime at a Historic Dead End; 3,000 Lawmakers Back NCRI

Image
The religious dictatorship in Tehran has hit a historic dead end, clinging to power solely through brutal domestic repression and regional warmongering. This was the definitive assessment by Bob Blackman MP , Chairman of the British Committee for Iran Freedom (BCIF). Rejecting the Monarchy, Embracing the Republic Blackman strongly warned Western powers against trying to resuscitate the discredited Pahlavi monarchy. He noted that Reza Pahlavi has never condemned his father’s dictatorship or the notorious SAVAK secret police, while shamelessly claiming support from members of the terrorist IRGC. A genuine democratic transition, Blackman stressed, requires a structured popular movement willing to make sacrifices—a trait uniquely demonstrated by the PMOI and its domestic Resistance Units . Key Breakthroughs: Global Support: Over 3,000 parliamentarians worldwide have endorsed the NCRI’s Provisional Government as the legitimate vehicle to transfer sovereignty to the Iranian people. No to War, No to Appeasement

Image
I salute the tens of thousands of Iranians who reached Vauban Square and its vicinity in Paris yesterday to rally but faced an unjustified ban on their demonstration. I particularly salute the younger generation whose voice was heard worldwide. The remnants of the clerical regime sought to silence their voice through behind-the-scenes dealings, but their roar, which is the most legitimate voice of the people of Iran , could be heard in the heart of Paris louder than ever. Fortunately, the people of France and their honorable representatives loudly declared that in contrast to the policy of appeasement of the regime, they stand with the Iranian Resistance, the National Council of Resistance and the Resistance Units. Furthermore, Ms. Christine Arrighi , a member of the French National Assembly, said here yesterday, “I am in pain for my France.” With this statement, she was referring to the ban on freedom of expression and assembly in Paris. She added, “Our point is: no to war, no to appe...

Neutrality is Complicity: Italian MP Naike Gruppioni Endorses Maryam Rajavi as Iran’s Credible Secular Alternative

Image
PARIS — June 20, 2026 — Italian Parliamentarian Naike Gruppioni delivered a powerful and defining address at the Free Iran 2026 World Summit , sending a clear message to Western democracies: the era of diplomatic ambiguity and calculated silence must come to an immediate end. Responding to the last-minute restrictions and ban placed upon the scheduled Paris solidarity march, Gruppioni defiantly declared that “ no ban can stop a people who have decided to rise up, ” proving that the unyielding desire for freedom will always find its path forward, regardless of bureaucratic or geopolitical roadblocks. 1. Transforming Pain into Power: The Vanguard Role of Iranian Women A significant portion of Gruppioni’s speech focused on the extraordinary bravery of Iranian women. Rather than framing them merely as passive victims of a brutal system, she recognized them as the strategic vanguard of the revolution. A Battle for Dignity: Gruppioni highlighted how Iranian women have systematicall...

No Silence for the Brave: Ingrid Betancourt Condemns Western Complacency and Honors Iran’s Resistance Units

Image
Introduction In a stirring and passionate address at the recent gathering for Iranian freedom, former Colombian Senator and presidential candidate Ingrid Betancourt delivered a powerful indictment of the Iranian regime's brutality and a sharp critique of Western diplomacy. Her speech served as both a solemn tribute to the young activists paying the ultimate price inside Iran and a rallying cry for the international community to stand on the right side of history. The Ultimate Sacrifice: Honoring Babak Alipour and Pouya Ghobadi Betancourt began by shedding light on the grim and escalating reality of mass executions inside Iran. She paid an emotional tribute to the young generation of Resistance Units who continue to defy the theological dictatorship from within the country's most notorious prisons. Specifically, she honored Babak Alipour and Pouya Ghobadi, two young activists who were recently led to the gallows. Betancourt revealed a profound truth about their final days: befor...

Our Slogan Is Peace and Freedom

Image
Khamenei’s son, who for more than a quarter of a century was his father’s accomplice in massacres and repression, has now inherited the crumbling edifice of Velayat-e Faqih (Absolute Clerical Rule). Yet, his is a transient rule, with the inevitability of its overthrow written across its forehead. This is the regime’s final stop. A Warning to the Regime To the remnants of this regime, we say: whichever path you choose, uprising and overthrow await you. Against the rebellious youth and the defiant cities of Iran, your missile cities are powerless. Against an organized uprising, your staged street spectacles are of no avail. The daily execution of political prisoners will not save your regime. The Pillar of Peace and Resistance Today, let me reaffirm once again that the Iranian Resistance has stood for freedom and peace for nearly five decades. For the past thirty-five years, through 133 major revelations—most notably the exposure of the secret nuclear facilities at Natanz and Arak in Aug...

Boris Johnson at Free Iran 2026: “Change Must Come From Within, and It Will Come”

Image
The Free Iran 2026 World Summit in Paris witnessed a powerful and defiant address by former British Prime Minister Boris Johnson . Speaking to a distinguished international audience and members of the Iranian democratic opposition, Johnson delivered a blistering rebuke of the French government’s attempts to suppress the rally, while offering his unwavering support for a free, democratic Iran. Here are the key highlights and takeaways from his speech: A Capitulation to Tehran: Denouncing the Rally Ban Johnson did not hold back in criticizing the French authorities' last-minute efforts to block the mass demonstration, dismissing their official excuses regarding weather and security as "absolute nonsense." "Pathetic" Justifications: “Last night, I was told that the problem was that it was going to be too hot... How pathetic! Would we be put off by a bit of heat? Of course not!” A Craven Diplomatic Deal: Johnson alleged that the cancellation was a political conce...

'The Blood of Iran's Martyrs Calls Out for Justice'

Image
Amb. Kenneth Blackwell Edmund Burke famously said, "The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing." For over fifty years, I have worked on human rights—from building cases in the former Yugoslavia to witnessing the dirty war in Argentina and apartheid in South Africa. I have learned to read the language of dying regimes. They do not announce their fear in press conferences; they write it on the gallows. In a joint statement this week, 30 archbishops, bishops, and rabbis stressed: "Iranian authorities have exploited the climate of war as a cover for intensifying repression and suppressing growing dissent inside the country, with dozens executed following unfair trials and coerced confessions. The head of the judiciary has publicly called for expedited rulings and, by setting aside legal safeguards and due process, has accelerated the issuance and implementation of death sentences.  A significant number of those executed have been targeted...

The Only Path to Bring Real Change

Image
The war and major events of recent months have shown us the truth about the most fundamental issues regarding Iran. Among these realities are the following: -There is no viable solution to the regime’s nuclear weapons program except its overthrow and the establishment of a non-nuclear Iran by the people of Iran and their organized Resistance. -The Middle East and the Persian Gulf will never find peace and stability until this regime is overthrown. -The global threat of terrorism will never end until its primary source, which is the religious dictatorship, is stopped. This regime simply has no capacity for peace. – The only way to bring real change to Iran is to overthrow the clerical regime through popular uprisings, the organized Resistance, and the Liberation Army. https://www.maryam-rajavi.com/en/uk-conference-prospect-of-change-in-iran/

Ambassador Reiss Applauds Iran's Democratic Resistance and Vision for Freedom

Image
Formers U.S. Official Declares Tehran Intellectually Bankrupt and Endorses Madam Rajavi's Ten-Point Plan Ambassador Mitchell Reiss highlighted positive trends within Iran, pointing to a strong and growing democratic resistance movement . He praised the personal courage of those involved in the struggle and stressed the crucial need to showcase leaders like Madam Rajavi , whose democratic leadership he described as both inspiring and deeply committed. Addressing the spread of misinformation by the Iranian regime and its allies abroad, Amb. Reiss urged for intensified efforts to counter these false narratives and to garner broader global support for the opposition. In his discussion on the "battle of ideas," Reiss declared the Tehran regime intellectually bankrupt, noting its utter failure to provide prosperity, justice, or security to its people. In stark contrast, he lauded Madam Rajavi’s Ten-Point Plan for a free and democratic Iran , describing it as a model of governan...

Clerical Regime at Impasse vis-à-vis the People’s Uprising

Image
Since the start of the war, they have been executing political prisoners one after another. This includes eight members of the People’s Mojahedin, who were part of the Resistance Units. They have also executed 20 young people for taking part in the uprising or fighting against the Revolutionary Guards . The chief of the regime’s State Security Force announced that 6,500 people have been arrested since the war began. He noted that 567 of them were connected to the PMOI . They are trying to hide their weak position and fear of collapse behind the noise of war. But they have no answer for a society that is ready to rise up, especially because the Resistance Units in many Iranian cities are fighting the Revolutionary Guards and preparing for the next uprising. At the same time, the remnants of the Shah’s regime, which was overthrown by a popular revolution in 1979, are advocating for a return to the past dictatorship and the return of the Shah’s notorious secret service, SAVAK. These actio...
